Gillsville features classic rural Northeast Georgia living, with older farmhouses, brick ranch homes, and properties nestled along winding country roads. Many local residents rely on wood-burning stoves and open hearths to supplement their heating during crisp winter nights in Hall County. With generous lot sizes and mature timber framing the landscape, burning seasoned oak and hickory is a natural choice for heating homes and gathering around outdoor fire pits on acreage properties.
