Avondale Estates is famous for its early 20th-century character, featuring charming craftsman bungalows and Tudor-revival homes equipped with classic masonry fireplaces. Because many of these historic properties rely on wood-burning hearths as a primary or supplemental source of winter warmth, homeowners need dense, well-seasoned hardwoods that burn clean and hot. Whether you are firing up an indoor hearth during a chilly DeKalb County freeze or enjoying a weekend evening by a backyard fire pit near Lake Avondale, seasoned oak and hickory provide the steady, reliable heat required for these older homes.
Delivering firewood to Avondale Estates requires navigating narrow, tree-canopied historic streets and established residential pockets like the Historic District and Forrest Hills. Our delivery truck drivers are experienced in carefully backing down tight driveways or dropping loads safely near your side yard without disturbing historic stone walls, mature landscaping, or neighborhood traffic, ensuring a smooth drop-off for your seasoned oak and hickory.
Avondale Estates sits about 21 miles from our Alpharetta base, well inside our regular Metro Atlanta route. Weekday and weekend slots are available, and most orders arrive within 2–3 business days.
We deliver to homes near Lake Avondale, Willis Park, Avondale Town Center and Your DeKalb Farmers Market.
